Parking and access for a residential complex that manages itself
Residents enter by the car's plate - no fobs and no waiting. Guests get temporary access, issued in a minute from the building manager's phone. Emergency vehicles always pass. Rivikon controls the entrance of the residential complex, with no lost cards.
A classic RFID barrier at a residential complex creates more work than it saves - cards to replace, guests at the barrier and zero visibility into who enters.
Without Rivikon
Fobs, calls and chaos at the entrance
Lost and copied fobs, constant replacement
The guest waits for someone to come down or pick up the phone
Outside cars park in residents' spaces
No trace of who entered and when - in a dispute there's no data
The building manager wastes time on manual management
With Rivikon
The entrance recognises everyone itself
Resident → automatic access by plate, no fob
Guest → temporary pass, issued in a minute from the phone
Deliveries and maintenance → standing whitelist for service cars
Emergency vehicles → an always-open path
Building manager → reports and a log for the general meeting
How it helps
Built for building management
Plate-based access for residents
The camera reads the plate and lifts the barrier in under a second. No fob, no app, no stopping - even in rain and at night. Several plates per household, with a quota for how many cars are inside at once.
The apartment - in the log
"Apt. B-1-7 entered at 18:40" - the log speaks the building manager's language. One monthly fee covers up to 3 identifiers: two cars and an entrance card.
Temporary passes for guests
The building manager or doorman creates guest access for a few hours or a day - in a minute, straight from their phone. It expires automatically. A guest link issued by the resident - in development.
Deliveries and maintenance without calls
Waste collection, cleaners, maintenance and couriers - a standing whitelist for service vehicles, without opening for them by hand every time.
The entrance door - in the same system
The garage by plate, the entrance with a card or fob - one household, one record, one fee. Monthly fees are tracked in the system, with payment history and documents.
Always open for emergencies
An ambulance, fire engine and waste collection pass by whitelist, and any board member can lift the barrier from their phone in an emergency.
A report for the building manager
Reports and a log of entries, problem cases and the paid guest parking (if any) - ready for the general meeting.
Privacy between neighbours
Only the building manager and the doorman have access to the data - neighbours don't see who enters and when. We keep only the plate and time, with configurable retention, the right to erasure and full GDPR compliance.
Questions and answers
Frequently asked questions about residential complexes
If you can't find your question - write to us and you'll get an answer very soon.
Does every resident need a fob or card?
No. The barrier lifts by the vehicle's licence plate, so residents enter without stopping and without looking for a fob. An RFID card or fob remains an option for backup access or for a second car without a plate in the system.
How do residents' guests get in?
The building manager or doorman creates a temporary pass in a minute, straight from their phone - for a few hours or for one day. Access expires automatically, without anyone having to delete it. A guest link that the resident issues themselves - in development.
Can one resident have several cars?
Yes. Several plates are added to one resident - a family car, a second car, a rented or replacement vehicle. Everything is managed from one profile, without involving the building manager.
What about emergency vehicles - ambulance, fire?
Emergency and service vehicles (ambulance, fire, waste collection, maintenance) are added to a whitelist or let in with one tap from a board member's phone. The entrance stays accessible for emergencies.
Can neighbours see who came to visit me and when?
No. Only the building manager and the doorman have access to the system - neighbours don't see other households' data. We keep only the plate and the entry time, with configurable retention and the right to erasure, in full GDPR compliance.
Does it work during a power or internet outage?
During an internet outage the system uses a backup 4G connection, so the entrance keeps working. Full offline autonomy - with cached plates and a decision entirely on the device - is in development.
