Software instead of expensive hardware
We replace controllers costing tens of thousands with smart software and standard equipment. Technology shouldn't be a luxury.
Rivikon is a Bulgarian access control software company. We believe expensive, locked-down hardware can be replaced with smart software and affordable equipment - without sacrificing reliability.
It all started with one concrete problem: how to automate a car park without expensive controllers, paper tickets and an attendant at the barrier. The answer turned out to be surprisingly elegant - a camera that reads the licence plate, and the Rivikon SmartBridge device that makes the decision.
While developing this, we realised something: the problem is not only the car park. The same logic - a device at the entrance that recognises who you are and decides whether to let you in - applies to an office building with RFID cards, to a warehouse, to a high-security site with facial recognition. So out of "parking software" grew Rivikon - an access control platform, and the car park remained our first product.
Today we continue with the same idea: one shared platform on which separate products for car parks, buildings and security build - so the customer finds exactly what they need, without paying for what they don't.
We replace controllers costing tens of thousands with smart software and standard equipment. Technology shouldn't be a luxury.
The local device recognises and decides in a fraction of a second - right at the entrance, with no delay.
A car park today, a building tomorrow - on the same software. You don't switch systems or learn a new tool.
We develop in Bulgaria, with support in Bulgarian and an understanding of local operators and sites.
Tell us about your site - we'll show you how Rivikon can run it.
